  those of you who weren’t around in the days when he was the oracle of jwdom or who at least aren’t familiar with the deeper publications he was responsible for probably won’t be able to comprehend the significance of the question.

  i believe he influenced jwdom greatly, and the whole feel of jwdom would have been different without him.. during the 60’s, 70’s, & 80’s (not sure about 50’s), he was considered to be almost superhuman by some (a lot?

  I think Rutherford is the one this question should be about. If he had never existed, the org would be either defunct or nothing even close to what we have today.

  There are other religious groups that are based on Russell' teachings & they're minor with very few followers or impact on the world today. Yes, he was wacky & had wild theories and predictions. And he published them & had a following. But it was Rutherford who came in (well forced his way in) and went full steam ahead in developing a religous publishing company selling dreams. He started the organization on the trajectory it's still on. And he personally identified and developed the talents of Knorr & Franz to keep the organization running for almost 100 years. He's the real head of the snake in my opinion.

  If Franz wasn't around, Rutherford would have found someone else to provide content for his products to get people to buy into the fantasies he was selling.

  Using the logic of the "Adam and Eve gap" he said that if it were to take decades than that would mean that Adam would have been without a mate for that long and that would tempt Adam into bestiality!!!

  This is a very disturbing statement seeing it came from a sexually repressed virgin (assuming he lived by the rules of the religion he espoused). Me thinks he had issues

  about 6 months ago she had uploaded a very damning video exposing the subliminal satanic images in different publications.

  prior to this she had uploaded many videos talking about different jw topics.

  then about 2 weeks ago she started uploading videos on being able to celebrate christmas with her daughter.

  The regional convention went to Red Deer in 2016. I wonder if Edmonton upped the offer for 2017 or if this is their standard presentation.

  I do know i'm writing down those dates & getting out of town. And hopefully doing something they'd deem sinful.

  There Were TWO Child Molesters Hiding In My Old Congregation

  it's come out in my old congregation that, not one, but two child molesters have been hiding in my old congregation.

  i knew both of them and one of them, an old man, was regularly at my house for field service meetings on a weekly basis.. in my old congregation there's an apostate who was awake long before i was.

  unfortunately he cant leave because his wife and children and parents are still full on believers.

  There is no "good side" to this, but you need to let your lawyer know about this as part of your custody dispute. Your father in law knew that scumbag 1 was a pedo & you had him over to your home with your young child and he never warned you? And now your ex & young child is staying with this same father in law? That is so disturbing.

  we have seen that the society falls back on the line "it is the victims right to approach the authorities" during all the abuse claims.. they use this excuse to try and defend the passive lack of action in failing to report suspected cases of abuse.. a comparison came to mind:.

  if we came across a person lying in the street who says they were hit by a car, would we say "it is your absolute right to call the paramedics and police"?.

  or would we take the initiative and call those authorities ourselves to help the person?.

  As per the grudging admission of one of the WT reps at the Aussie RC, "whistleblowing" - i.e. reporting wrongdoing on JWs' or the Org's part to the secular authorities - is now a disassociating action (like celebrating Christmas or accepting a transfusion)...

  ...no judicial committee - and therefore no disfellowshipping - even necessary.

  Can you give me more details? A link, etc... That's crazy
